The university of warkick is a public research university in coventry england. it was founded in 1965 as part of government initivate to expand access to higher education.
Warwick business school was established in 1967 and warwick medical school was opened in 2000. warwick merged with coventrycollege of education in 1979 and horticultural research international in 2004 as of 2015 warwick is in the top 100 of every major university world ranking.
warwick is primarly based on a 290 hectare campus on the outskirts of conventry with a satellite campus in wellesbourne and a london base at the shard in central london.
